Broker integrations are strictly read-only. The Trader Journal cannot place trades, move funds, or modify broker accounts.
Authentication is handled using secure OAuth standards (Google, Apple, Email), and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
For broker data access (e.g. Interactive Brokers), we use official reporting feeds designed specifically for third-party portfolio analytics and journaling.
The Trader Journal never stores brokerage credentials. Access can be revoked at any time from the broker’s portal.
